HxC

Tonight, I am going to Pontiac, MI to see three magnificent bands play: August Burns Red, Bring Me The Horizon, and Emarosa, all of whom have brand new or relatively new CD's that I have not yet heard live. Seeing new things with live music is an amazing feeling for me. New venues, new band members, new songs from bands I've already seen before...there are so many reasons that keep me going back. And I must say, it has been a while since I've been to a show with any edge. Good bands I've seen lately, but not nearly enough energy (minus Dan Deacon) as I like from crowds. Should be gooooooooooooood.

  2. IT IS! I love the route they're taking. They've been good all throughout, but the experimental take on everything is keeping me grinning. I always always always say this to people, but if you've ever listened to Fear Before (the March of Flames), their latest CD is entirely different and experiments with new sounds, and I absolutely adore it. The spin BMTH took on this new CD is just like it. I also got a shirt of the new album art! Sooo good.

    Do you have a Facebook?

  3. No way! I want a t-shirt with their cover art, but won't get one because of the reaction it will create from my not-so-approving-of-my-music friends. Ack. Facebook? LOL, who dosent have facebook. Seriously.

  5. Lol, I'm enjoying immensely the fact that I'm checking this page after the fact I went on a not-so-large hunt for your name. And in regard to the exclamation wish, you probably can change such a thing on fb. Do it! It will make you seem like an exciting individual.

    Ack. Bad pun.

  6. Haha, I'm hating immensely that it's getting a bit tougher for me to try and put as much energy into any of these blog posts as the year drags on. Oh well. Homework is homework...
